COVID-19 Policy Update

Dear Valued Patron,
At Ridgeview, the health and well-being of our customers, employees and community remains top of mind as we navigate the new normal of COVID 19. We understand the concern around the coronavirus and we are constantly monitoring the latest news and following the advice from various government and health authorities on how best to protect our customers and our team. We can assure you that we take the responsibility very seriously.
As many of you know Ridgeview has continued to operate safely throughout the Pandemic. As our location has been open, we have been subject to several inspections of our store and processes, by both by-law enforcement and the health department. In all instances Ridgeview has passed with flying colours and been assured that our systems are sufficient in managing potential coronavirus risks. We wanted to share the precautions we have taken to ensure you have a safe and comfortable shopping experience.
In our temporary trailer location, we have ensured a maximum of 2 customers in the store at any time. After each customer, the counters and other high touch surfaces are sanitized and hand sanitizer is available at each check out. Cones are placed outside to ensure the line for waiting patrons keeps a physical distance of 2m while in queue. For your comfort we do recommend that customers wear a non-medical face mask while shopping, our staff may or may not have a mask while serving you. Though we appreciate the value of face masks our policy leaves the option to the employee as often the dirt, dust and heat experienced makes wearing masks very difficult, with employees needing to repeatedly remove the mask due to sweat or dirt trapped against the face. Our staff are screened daily to ensure no symptoms of illness and strictly enforced. Further, all employees have been directed to follow general good health measures including frequent hand washing and social distancing.
In accordance with local government direction, we are fully open to the public. If you are unable to visit us in person, feel free browse our website to purchase landscape stone, soil, and mulch online. For flowers and plants not available online please give us a call and we can create a curbside pick up order for your convenience. We are doing our best to avoid delays on orders and customer service requests, however we ask for your understanding and patience during this time.
